Street dance is great for fitness as it’s high energy and upbeat, making it a good cardio workout. You will be so busy learning the moves and dancing the routines that you won’t even realise you are getting fit at the same time!

As well as interacting with other dancers, there is a lot of creativity involved with dancing making it fun, especially street dance which is known for its comical aspect and openness to new ideas and styles.


Confidence

Dancing is a great way of expressing yourself and building self confidence. Your confidence will continue to grow with each class. Performing in front of audiences will give you a massive confidence boost and is such an amazing feeling.


Therapeutic

Dancing takes your mind and body into a completely different world, which makes it a great way to de-stress and forget about a tough day at the office! It’s also been proven that when you exercise your body produces ‘happy’ endorphins so you’ll leave class feeling a lot happier!


Social

Being part of a dance group opens up a whole new social network of friends. As well as events such as performances and shows there are nights out arranged from time to time so everyone can show off what they can do on the dance floor!

It’s great to have something to work towards in class, which is why there are many chances to perform at fetes, shows and festivals so you can show off all your hard work.
